A man called the Guardia Civil after discovering 1.2 tons of hashish hidden under some plastic sheeting in his carport at his home in calle Miramar, Punta Umbría.
With no open investigations in the area, the only conclusion is that some traffickers, perhaps having come across a police patrol, stashed the drugs in the nearest available space, namely this man’s carport, intending to collect them later when the coast was clear. Not any more, though!
