Employees of the city bus company in El Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz) are set to start an ‘all out’ strike from today until May 11th, coinciding with the local feria.
The workers rejected the latest proposals made by the bus company, GDF, to resolve their dispute relating to casual labour and at their late night meeting, decided upon full strike action.
However, talks are scheduled to continue in an effort to reach some sort of agreement and thus avoid a strike during what will be a very busy time.
