National Police officers in Huelva have arrested two people who were stealing credit cards from mailboxes, activating the cards and then using them to make withdrawals.
The couple, a 30 year old man and a 24 year old woman, would intercept credit cards sent by banks, via mail, to their customers. They would then activate the cards via telephone and then go and withdraw some cash.
It is thought that the couple managed to obtain about €3,000 with the stolen cards. Both have now been charged with theft and robbery.
