Police in Málaga have detained three people in connection with a child prostitution network allegedly being run from a bar in the city.
The main suspect in the investigation is the owner of the bar Embrujo in calle San Juan de Letrán. A waiter, the partner of the owner and a former employee were also detained, although the latter has, at least temporarily, been released.
Most of the ‘prostitutes’ are aged between 16 years and 17 years and are of Rumanian or North African origin. They were hired out to upper-middle class and middle-aged men and received €20 in exchange for engaging in sex with these clients.
