National Police officers in Málaga have detained two people on charges of crimes against the public health after they were found to be transporting 86 kilos of hashish.
The officers detained the driver of a car who was responsible for alerting a second car, the one carrying the drugs, of any police presence in the area. The second car was then located and a short chase ensued, ending when the vehicle crashed.
The driver fled on foot with the hashish but was located three hours later in a shopping centre in Guadalhorce. He was suffering from cuts and bruises as a result of the crash as he had not been wearing a seatbelt at the time.
