The Councilor for Beaches, Jonathan Méndez, has been in Madrid to receive the two ‘Q for Quality’ awards presented to Nerja in respect of Burriana and Torrecilla beaches and, at the same time, took the opportunity to talk with the Department of Coasts about the Paseo de los Carabineros.
The Councilor for Beaches, the only official representative from Málaga province to actually attend the award ceremony, spoke with the Director General of the Department of Coasts, Alicia Paz Antolín.
The Councilor stated that Nerja was tired of waiting for answers to requests for the stabilisation of the cliff areas along the Paseo de los Carabineros and asked that a separate project be created so that the walkway can be opened as soon as possible.
