The Ministry of Environment reports that the reservoirs in Andalucía are in a healthy state and there will be no problems with supply during the summer.
The reservoirs in the region, having been depleted by the drought which started five years ago, are now standing at 51% of capacity, some 10,500 cubic hectometres of water. Most are between 10 and 15 per cent higher than las year.
People are still asked to be ‘responsible’ in their use of water.
