Casabermeja has become the latest municipality in Andalucía to start generating clean energy.
Wednesday saw the inauguration of a new solar park in the town, one which will produce over three million kilowatt hours of energy per year, enough to power 900 homes during the next twenty-five years.
The solar park helps the environment by reducing carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere by some 2,500 tons. In Málaga province, the number of such clean energy generators has doubled during the past year.
