A judge has ordered detention in custody for the three people accused of organising the boat trip in which at least eight passengers died when the craft hit rocks near Barbate.
The three detainees were identified by surviving passengers as having been responsible for organising the boat crossing and for pushing people out of the boat when it neared the shore, action which caused the boat to hit the rocks and overturn.
The search for more survivors, or bodies, has been continuing but there have been no further results.
