Airports in Andalucía recorded a total of 6,873,363 passengers during the first five months of 2009 according to AENA, the Aeropuertos Españoles y Navegación Aérea, a drop of 17.4% compared to the same period in 2008.
Málaga was the premier airport with 4.1 million passengers, a fall of 14% on 2008. Sevilla airport was 16.2% less, Granada was 26.4% less, Jerez was 26.8% less, Almería was 33.2% less and Córdoba was 17% less.
