Three bombs have so far exploded in Palma on the island of Majorca, the latest at around 18:30. A warning was given before the first explosions.
The latest incidents comes just hours after ETA admitted responsibility for the bomb attack last month which killed two Guardia Civil officers.
The first two bombs were detonated in bars in Paseo del Portitxol near to the Can Tere Antoni beach. A warning call in the name of ETA was received in advance and the police were able to evacuate the area.
The third bomb, less powerful than the first two, exploded in the toilets of a bar some five hundred metres from the scene of the earlier explosions. The Hotel Avenida Palace has also been evacuated and cordoned off as the authorities suspect there could be a fourth device.
There are no reports of any casualties.
