A 42 year old man was injured on Sunday afternoon after he lost control of his paraglider and plunged into a ravine near Benalmádena.
The Emergency Services received a call at around 19:00 on Sunday evening to say that a paraglider had fallen into a ravive near the Buddhist temple in Benalmádena. To the scene went Local Police, Guardia Civil, National Police, Firemen and medical personnel.
The rescue was made difficult by the rugged terrain. When the rescuers reached the man he was conscious but had suffered breaks to both legs.
He was taken to Benalmádena where a waiting ambulance took him to hospital.
