ACET, the Asociación de Comerciantes y Empresarios de Torre del Mar (Association of Merchants and Entrepreneurs) has complained about the number of permits being given to street vendors on the promenade at Torre del Mar.
ACET believe that the situation is leading to a state of anarchy on the promenade and is hitting regular businesses during this busy period. They complain that regular businesses, who are established on the promenade and operate all year round, are being affected by unfair competition from the itinerant traders.
