Police in Fuengirola have arrested a Hungarian national wanted in his home country in connection with a €300 million fraud.
The detainee, one of the most wanted criminals in Hungary, had apparently ‘retired’ to Fuengirola after fleeing his native country. As a director of GP Trade KFT, he is thought to have appropriated about €300 million through fraud, bribery and the falsification of documents.
The arrest was made possible through the collaboration of foreigners living in the area.
