National Police officers yesterday detained 42 year old Jenaro J. H. as he arrived at Madrid’s Barajas airport from Brazil. The police had been investigating his mysterious ‘disappearance’ for over a year.
Jenaro J. H., who was wanted in connection with fraud, misappropriation of funds and falsification of documents, staged his ‘disappearance’ in Tarifa, Cádiz province, just over one year ago. He was supposed to have disappeared while out fishing and a comprehensive search, lasting two weeks, was launched after an item of his clothing was found in the water.
