An Italian ‘capo’, wanted in his home country in connection with drugs trafficking, has been detained in Marbella.
The detainee, B.C.M., was born in Paratico, Italy, and is considered to be the top man in the coordination of various organisations operating between Brazil and Colombia which introduced cocaine into Lombardy ready for distribution to the rest of Europe.
B.C.M. is the subject of an international arrest and extradition warrant after having been convicted and sentenced to twelve years and six months in prison in Italy for his participation in cocaine trafficking.
He was arrested at his home in an apartment block near the Paseo Marítimo in Marbella.
