Three boats, carrying a total of 37 people, were interecepted off the coast of Andalucía yesterday.
Two boats, one with 13 people on board and another with 19 passengers, were intercepted about 27 miles southeast of Cabo de Gata in Almería, a popular arrival point for illegal immigrants.
All the occupants were males with one possibly being a minor.
Meanwhile, near Tarifa, a small inflatable dinghy carrying 5 illegal immigrants was intercepted by Guardia Civil officers.
