It’s obviously a mistake anyone can make. And I did. After spending four hours patiently waiting for the latest test match update to be announced, I suddenly discovered that I had actually been trying to listen to a vodka bottle. Easy, but annoying mistake to make.
No wonder Absolut Vodka is suing Absolute Radio (formerly Virgin Radio) as they consider that ‘there is a risk of confusion’. And there obviously is.
Absolute Radio, clutching at straws to defend the lawsuit, are putting up the unbelievable and far-fetched defence that listeners are able to distinguish between a bottle of vodka and a radio station. Who are they trying to kid?
