At around 05:00 this morning, a taxi driver reported seeing four individuals removing the Spanish flag from a pole in avenida de la Constitución in Granada.
Local Police officers located the flag, some thirty square metres of material, in the possession of four individuals aged between 20 years and 31 years very close to the scene. All four deny having anything to do with the incident!
Police are now trying to clarify the situation. The four suspects are three Spaniards and one Briton.
