The number of fatalities in Spain as a result of complications arising from infection with the Inflenza A virus has risen to twenty, with four of those cases being in Andalucia.
An 85 year old man was admitted to the Sanitario Público del Aljarafe in Bormujos (Sevilla) on August 14th and died on August 21st. He was suffering from multiple medical problems and a post mortem examination was carried out to determine whether his death could be attributable to the Influenza A virus.
This was confirmed today by the Ministry of Health.
