Later today, Torrox Council is hoping to resolve a long standing administrative dispute relating to lands around the Colina del Sol school and pave the way for the construction of a four star hotel.
The lands in question, some 5,000 square metres, have been the subject of an administrative didpute for the past two years, but the Council is hoping to finally resolve the issue today. The idea is then to auction off the land for the construction of a four star hotel, the first in Torrox Pueblo.
The hotel would have 100 rooms and 24 tourist apartments. A capital investment group in Málaga has already expressed an interest in promoting the project.
In theory, such a hotel could be ready within two years. In practice…..
