Temperatures in Andalucía this August have exceeded the historical averages, in some cases by up to three degrees.
The increase most most significant in Sevilla province where the average maximum temperature during the thirty-one days of August was 37.5 degrees, 3.5 degrees above the historical average. The average minimum temperature did not fall below 22.1 degrees, once again 3.5 degrees above the historical average.
In Málaga, the average maximum temperature was 31.2 degrees, compared to an historical average of 30.5 degrees, and the average minimum was 21.9%, compared to an historical average of 20.7 degrees.
The sea temperatures in Málaga were also the highest for twenty-five years.
