Malagueño Antonio de la Torre, a ‘Goya’ winner for his supporting role in the film ‘Gordos’, will be the guest of honour at the XIV Día de la Pasa in El Borge on Sunday Sepetember 20th.
Around 15,000 visitors are expected for the festival and there will be 5,000 kilos of grapes and 5,000 litres of Muscatel wine on offer. There will also be 12 hours of uninterrupted entertainment, artisan stalls, workshops, demonstrations and other activities.
The grape crop has been much better this year, both in quality and quantity. Last year, farmers lost almost 80% of their crop to hailstones.
