Five people are in prison in Botafuegos, Algeciras, in connection with the death of 38 year old Manuel Zapata on July 23rd.
Manuel Zapata was severely beaten during the festivities in La Línea de la Concepción on July 23rd and was admitted to hospital. However, unable to overcome his injuries, he died Hospital Puerta del Mar in Cádiz on August 3rd.
One of the five detainees was sent to prison without the possibility of bail and the other four were granted bail.
