A third person has died in Sevilla following an outbreak of legionella, the latest victim being a 79 year old woman.
The woman entered the ICU at the Hospital Virgen Macarena in Sevilla on Wednesday of last week and her condition had been described as ‘critical’.
Thirteen people were affected by the legionella outbreak and the authorities have already closed down two cooling towers located on the building where the victims all live. The towers were reported to be badly maintained and in poor condition.
