A comfortable 2-0 win for Barcelona against Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League, Messi (who else?) opening the scoring after 25 minutes and Pedro adding a second.
Not a cricket score but a relatively routine win nonetheless.
Sevilla are four points clear at the top of their group after they hammered Rangers 1-4, all the goals coming in the second half.
Rangers were denied an early penalty and held their own in the first half but after the break, goals from Konko and Adriano put Sevilla firmly in control. Luis Fabiano and Fredi Kanoute added two more to put the result beyond doubt. Nacho Novo did get one back for Rangers but it wasn’t enough and they are now languishing at the bottom of the group.
