Three people were arrested, two of them minors, after they violently assaulted a man who had scolded the youths for climbing all over a number of cars.
Two men had noticed the youths climbing all over some cars in La Rinconada, Sevilla, and reprimanded them. The youths disappeared and then returned in the company of an adult. The three then hurled rocks at the men who had reprimanded the youths, knocking one of them to the floor.
Once down, the victim was kicked, punched and generally beaten until he was unconscious. One of the attackers was about to deliver a blow to the head of the unconscious man with a large rock when passers by intervened and the three made their escape.
The injured man was taken to hospital where he required five stitches in his neck, four in his elbow and three in his right arm.
