FACUA, the consumer watchdog, has criticised plans by the national airline Iberia to start charging for checking in baggage as from October 20th.
Iberia will join the ever growing list of airlines who charge for taking baggage on a flight. The plan is to charge at least €15 for the first bag and up to €100 for a second piece of luggage. Hand luggage will be restricted to one item with a maximum weight of 10 kilos.
