The Ministry of Tourism, Trade and Sport of the Junta de Andalucía is busy with promotional campaigns in the UK and Russia, targeting those who invest in luxury holidays and those with high spending power.
Turespaña has organised and is in the midst of ‘Mes de España’, which runs from October 5th to November 1st, and as part of this campaign is present at ‘Andalucia Week’ at Harrods in London. The aim is to target middle-class travellers visiting Harrods during the week as well as trying to encourage high spending Brits to visit Andalucía.
After Harrods it’s off to St Petersburg for what is considered the most important tourist event in northwestern Russia and an attempt to lure visitors to Andalucia.
