A new play centre’ for kids is now operational in the Sala Mercado in calle San Miguel and it’s all free.
This is an initiative from the Department of Education and Culture and is intended to give children an alternative environment for both learning and play, a sort of creche in other words.
There are educational games, drama, songs, storytelling, crafts, videos, dance, body language and more, and it is being coordinated by Estrella Rebollo.
The play centre is initially open Monday to Friday from 17:00 to 18:00 but the schedule will gradually be expanded.
