The Government of Andalucia has approved the setting up of the Centre for Mediation and Arbitration of Andalucia, a body designed to facilitate the resolution civil, commercial and employment cases and relieve the overall backlog.
The Centre has the legal format of a public foundation, be responsible to the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration and will have a board of trustees.
The members of the board of trustees shall be representatives of the Government of Andalucia, the professional associations involved in the mediation and arbitration (notaries, lawyers, economists and psychologists), the Universities, the Confederation of Businessmen of Andalucia and the Andalucian Council Chambers of Commerce.
The foundation will have a budget of €2.44 million, authorised by the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration.
