The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has initiated ‘yellow alert’ status for high winds forAlmería, Granada, Jaén and Málaga provinces.
The alert will continue until 18:00 on Monday. Gusting winds of up to 80 kph are expected in some areas, particularly the Axarquia, Poniente, el Valle del Almanzora, Los Vélez, Guadix, Baza, the Costa del Sol and the Guadalhorce valley.
