The necropolis of Aguilillas in the municipality of Campillos will soon be open to the public, providing an insight into life 4,000 years ago.
The necropolis is located at the confluence of the rivers Guadalhorce, Guadalteba and Turón and during the archaeological excavations, hundreds of tools and implements were discovered.
Other important troglodyte remains in the province include the caves at Ardales and the ruins at Bobastro.
