A court in Ayamonte, Huelva province, has opened proceeding relating to the alleged theft of €900 from a man in the custody of the Guardia Civil in Cartaya.
At the present time all the Guardia Civil officers at the post, including the three who were in charge of the prisoner, are considered as suspects.
A man was arrested on June 13th on suspicion of a crime of violence against a woman and was kept in custody overnight. When released, the amount of €900 registered along with his other personal effects was found to be missing.
