A man died on Sunday afternoon in the village of Doña Rama, Córdoba province, in what is thought to have been a hunting accident, although an investigation into the incident is being carried out by the Guardia Civil.
At 17:10, the Guardia Civil were notified that there had been a hunting accident at a spot in between the villages of Posadillas and Doña Rama. The man, aged 35 years, had suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head while hunting thrushes.
Although the initial reaction was that this was an accident, based on the fact that the man was alone in his hide, an investigation has been opened to clarify the circumstances of the shooting.
