Real Madrid move to the top of La Liga after a 1-0 victory over Racing Santander, Higuaín scoring the only goal of the match midway through the first half.
A bit of early activity from Real Madrid but they didn’t manage to create too many goal scoring chances and Racing were unlucky not to get anything from the match, especially after a perfectly good equaliser was wrongly ruled as offside.
Barcelona remain unbeaten so far this season but slip to second place after a 1-1 draw with Athletic Bilbao. Dani Alves gave Barcelona the lead in the second half but Toquero equalised nine minutes later.
Next week is the big one as the top two lock horns.
