Work is progressing in calle Jaén, one side of the street now having a lovely wide pavement. Access to Plaza La Marina from calle Jaén has now been restored but the street remains limited access for pedestrians, in theory only residents or those visiting the shops or businesses.
It remains to be seen whether the works will, in fact, be finished by Christmas. No official confirmation to the contrary, as yet.
