The provincial secretary of the PSOE in Málaga, Miguel Ángel Heredia, has stated that the A-45 linking Antequera and Córdoba will be open in its entirety before Christmas.
The investment in the road project has now reached €400 million, the budget having been almost doubled in efforts to get the road finished.
The final stretch, a 10 kilometre section between Encinas Reales and Benamejí is currently scheduled to be inaugurated on December 20th.
