It’s getting quite nippy at the moment, more often than not being warmer outside than it is inside. The perils of stone floors in the winter, I suppose.
Wild and windy day today. The sun is out but it is chilly, although that hasn’t stopped a few people heading for the beach. As I walked along Torrecilla beach, half a dozen were on the sand. One guy with no top, four in anoraks and one in sorts and t-shirt. Quite a mix. Even their dog had a knitted woolly jacket on – poor thing.
El Chucho beach looks finished but the barriers are still up, can’t be too long now before it is officially opened. But we’ve waited a year so another few days won’t matter in the grand scheme of things. It does look good.
The new Lidl supermarket should be opening on December 15th. Apart from much of it being prefabricated, amazing how quickly private enterprise manages to construct buildings on time compared to municipal contracts. How about getting Lidl to build a sewage plant!!
