CD Nerja are slowly creeping back up the Primera Andaluza Grupo 3, up to eighth spot after a 1-2 win at Real Jaén B. Martos CD bounced back to the top in emphatic style, beating La Puerta CD by 8 goals to nil.
Last week’s leaders, Alhaurin Torre, went down 2-1 at Malaka and slip back down to second place.
The Blue and Whites, really needing a win, could only manage a 1-1 draw with Valladolid, Duda put Málaga ahead in the 34th minute but an own goal by Gámez gave Valladolid a share of the spoils.
