The Mayor, Councillors and representatives of the sociación de Empresarios de Nerja (AEN) have been meeting once again to discuss the four major projects on which there has been little or no movement for a very long time, decades in some cases.
A rail link to Málaga, a sewage plant, a marina and a golf course were on the agenda for this meeting which was also attended by members of the Asociación de Empresarios de Almuñécar.
Both the AEN and the Council are going to submit yet more written requests to the appropriate bodies, the Junta de Andalucia and the Central Government, to implement these projects ‘as soon as possible’.
The Mayor also offered the possibility of holding regular monthly meetings with the AEN with a preset agenda.
