The usually bone dry Rio Chillar is in full flow at the moment, hardly surprising with all the rain we are having.
The work done on the riverbed is certainly paying dividends as without it, the area would probably have been swamped. It is also nice to have some flowing water through the area, albeit very brown and muddy at the moment.
Some of the storm drains in the town are also being severely tested.
