The Guardia Civil are investigating the death of a 24 year old woman whose body was found at her home in calle Tenerife in Coín on Monday.
The woman died from asphyxiation. Her boyfriend, with whom she lived, a 27 year old Lithuanian national, was later found hanged at a house in calle Ciudad de Andújar in Málaga city.
There was no previous record of domestic abuse, no complaints registered and no judicial orders in place. If it turns out to be a case of domestic violence, it will be the 55th such fatality so far this year.
