Must confess to be not terribly enamoured with the postal system at the moment, although where the major problem lies remains a mystery at the moment.
In October, it took 2 weeks for a birthday card to make its way from Nerja to the UK, arriving almost a week after the event. Not good. A Christmas card to the same address arrived, completely shredded, inside a plastic bag with an apology, in Spanish, for its destruction.
On December 5th, two parcels were posted from the UK (from different areas) to Nerja. One was registered and insured, one was not. Neither has yet arrived in Nerja. One is certainly in Spain according to the tracker information, although where exactly in Spain appears to be a closely guarded secret.
