The Councillor for Tourism, José Miguel García, has announced that Nerja will once again be participating in the annual FITUR tourist exhibition.
Nerja shares a stand with Frigiliana Council, the Nerja Caves Foundation and ten local businesses. It is also possible that Algorrobo will join this merry band at this year’s event.
In addition to having its own 160 square metre stand, Nerja will also feature on the stand of the Costa del Sol Tourist Board.
The main thrust of this year’s efforts will be the cuisine of Nerja and on Thursday January 21st, a guide book will be launched featuring local recipes. The book is being produced in collaboration with Francisco Pérez Balbuena, chef at the Parador de Nerja.
