Weather permitting, the Laguna de las Yeguas area of the Sierra Nevada ski station should be open today and there could be a total of 80 kilometres of skiable pistes.
Work has been going on to repair the damage caused by the recent storms and high winds both in the Laguna de las Yeguas and Zayas areas.
During this past weekend, some 19,390 skiers took to the slopes, 562 of whom took advantage of the night skiing on Saturday in the illuminated El Río area.
