Solidarity Sunday in El Borge raised a total of €1,518 for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. The money will go to Haiti via the Fondo Andaluz de Municipios por la Solidaridad Internacional (FAMSI).
The novelty of this collection was that all the money, coins and notes, was deposited on the floor of the plaza next to the Town Hall with each item, coin or note, bearing the word ‘Haiti’ in big letters.
