The fishing fleets in and around the Gulf of Cádiz return to work today after a two month and 15 day enforced rest period to protect the fishing grounds and allow fish stocks to recover.
I Huelva, the fisheries are said to be in good condition but there is concern that, in the meantime, prices have fallen by around 20% due to the recession.
The fishermen are also complaining about the delayed payment of government aid during the lay-off.
