‘El Rafita’, who as a minor was one of the accused in the kidnapping, rape and murder of Sandra Palo, is once again free after a judge ordered his release following a court appearance on charges of car theft.
El Rafita, along with others, is facing charges of trying to steal a BMW in the Hortaleza district of Madrid. He was recognised as one of the perpetrators by police officers and was arrested after they obtained a search warrant. Rafita’s brother, Eduardo ‘Bubu’ García Fernández was arrested at the scene.
Rafita was also arrested in January while trying to steal a car in calle Clarinetes, Madrid.
