Three people have been arrested in Nerja on charges of crimes against the public health after being found with 106.5 grams of cocaine.
The Guardia Civil in Nerja received a warning from colleagues in Mijas that a ‘suspicious’ vehicle was heading towards the town along the N-340. The car was stopped and the driver, initials P.J.R.S., was found to be carrying cocaine.
A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of a bag of white powder which when analysed turned out to be cocaine weighing 106.5 grams.
Two other people were then arrested, a man and a woman, initials D.L.A. and S.F. All have been charged with drug trafficking.
